The trip planner
Meet Goldberry
I'm the fairy on the crest, and in the app I keep the weekend from turning into a pile of half-remembered show times.
What I will actually do
GoRenFest arrives in spring 2027. When it does, a weekend plan with me is a pocket version of the trip, built from the faire's own published details. Not a guess, and not a promise that every booth will match a rumor.
- The itinerary. A day you can follow: which gate, which shows, and enough slack to get lost on purpose.
- The schedule. Jousts, stage shows, and the rest of that day's list, so the falconry demo does not happen while you are in line for cider.
- Food. What that faire says is on offer, including a note when dietary choices are thin. The menu still belongs to the vendors.
- Lodging. Camping, RV sites, or hotels nearby, when the faire actually offers or points to them. If they are silent, I will be too.
- Theme weekends. Pirate, fae, highland, a holiday, or whatever that weekend is calling itself, so the costume decision happens before the car does.
What I will not pretend
Prices change. Bag rules change. A weapons policy is a faire's own sentence, not mine. If a fact is not on the roll or on that faire's site, it does not go in the plan as if it were settled.
Until the app is in your pocket, the chart and the beginner's notes are the public version of the same idea.
Two ways to go on
Pick a gate on the chart, or leave your address for one note when the app opens.
